  10. I purchashed 16 GVC 28.8k v.34 modems can't them them to answer and 
  11. connect properly to another modem.  I have them hooked up to a (CISCO 
  12. 2511, dial up) router, the router is set to 38,4 locked with hardware 
  13. flow control.  The router send out no INIT string, so I program one in 
  14. the modems non-vio. memory.

  16. But the PROBLEM is that after a random amoun t of time (2mins to 2 hrs.) 
  17. the modems drop connection.  Orif somebody connects and they requesta 
  18. large file it disconnects half way through?

  20. I think i need an Init string? Any suggestion would be GREATLY appreciated!!
